  • Description

    Ipu kava. Coconut shell cup. This receptacle for kava drinking is cut and polished from mui'i niu, the lower half of a nge'esi niu (mature coconut shell). The shell is quite think and comes to a natural peak on the base. It has a matte, smooth surface treatment. There are white paint flecks around the outside.
