    dress, girl's, fine cotton printed in alternating vertical rows of pink and blue flowers defined by black lines, square neckline edged in cream cotton lace with blue silk grosgrain ribbon insertion, short puffed sleeves edged in self frill, high waist with skirt pleated into bodice, placket to neck at centre back with two shell buttons and one clip closure, narrow blue silk grosgrain ribbon belt; probably purchased in Canada for donor by family friend Margaret Milne, a school teacher in Toronto
