    Kete. Bag. For carrying personal items. Woven from processed rauara (pandanus leaf) strips in plain check pattern with red cloth akamanea (decorative) overlay. Commencement at base, iri (braid) inside the kete. Patara (serrated) edge finish at rim. Two overlaid dyed-red cloth decorative bands span the length of the upper and lower boundaries of the kete in a continuous rau nahe (fern) motif. Single cord tatai (handle) overlaid with red cloth strip overlaid.
