    lamp, oil. The object is a roman oil lamp with a circular oil chamber. The filling hole is medium sized and in the centre of a concave discus. The nozzle is medium length with a flared nozzle and large wick hole. The wick hole has a impressed radiating linear design with tiny rosettes and scrolls leading down from the wick hole towards the main design. The fabric is pinkish brown clay. The lamp is very similar to design on AR8482 but less defined and not from the same mould.
