Kato. Bag. This kato (bag) has a base of coconut shell and is decorated with pueki shells and has a handle also decorated with pueki shell. The entire outside of the coconut shell is covered with fau (hibiscus fibre) and pueki. At the top of the shell a small circumference of the top is cut off and it is also woven and decorated with pueki and it is attached with fau. From one side of the opening to the other, there is a handle that has been woven from fau and has pueki embellishments on it.
