  • Description

    Saqa Tabua. Tabua-shaped tulituli (pottery) with a stand of qele incorporated into it. Decorative somuna (raised bumps of qele) along sides of the tabua form, and undecorated on the underside as well as decorative incised lines. Small orifice under the qele stand. Orofice at one tip end of the tabua shape. Brown mottled colour. Glaze of makadre (resin from the Dakua tree) applied to the form.
