    rug, Ghiordes knot, beautiful soft blue colouring, 76 mm cotton woven webs at each end, striped soft "blanket wool" warp, diagonal stripes in five borders which is characteristic of Afshari weave. Shield- like pears in main field, irregular pears in main border. Neat carefully made carpet, but a tendency to pucker due to uneven tensions in the weave.
