Ato. Personal handbag. This ato is finely woven from fenū (young coconut fibre) and is cylindrical in shape, with commencement begun at the base. It is woven in single check with intervals of double twine around the width. Pink and purple overlay fibre decorates the bottom edge of the circumference. A separate funnel-shaped lid also woven from fenū fits tightly over the top of the cylindrical form.

A handle plaited from fenū in a 4-ply rope technique is attached to the sides of the bag which incorporates pink and purple-dyed overlay.
