This ili is woven from lau fala in single check technique and natural in colour over a frame of tuaniu (coconut midrib) The blade is edges with white chicken feathers accented with darker feathers at two points along the blade. A handle of tuaniu and lau fala is incorporated into the design if this ili. The ili is spade-like in shape.
