Clam gathering knife. Nao fahua are used to separate clams from the rocks and the reef when gathering shellfish. This nao fahua is made from wood and metal and is lashed together with twisted coconut sennit cordage. The wood handle is long and triangular in shape, there are two pieces to the handle, the front and the back. The blade is made from metal, it is thin in depth and tapers to a blunt point, the entire blade is brown and rusted. The blade is placed in between the front and back part of the handle and is lashed together with twisted kafa (sennit).
