    Fala. Stem of pandanus plant. This fala is long and narrow and coloured a natural beige. It is neither polished nor decorated. The fala served many uses in the Tokelau community. Various tools and implements were made using fala and it was also used during construction of fale (houses) or to lift and carry vaka (canoes).
