    Tairiiri. Fan. Tairiiri woven from kikau ou (coconut leaf including midrib). The blade is in shape of a spade. The blade is woven from kikau ou. Plaited commencement at centre base of blade. Woven out in 1/1 twill from the centre to form lower and upper edges, and sides of blade. Mauranga (handle) is woven from kikau ou and is interwoven with the blade.
