    Kinikini, chief's or priest's club

    club. head has small wings with strengthening bar. wings wrapped in 'webbing' of plaited and unplaited dark brown and black sennit adorned with blue and white trade beads. blade has curve. 'Roseru Madanawa' carved on one side of blade. shaft of oval section wrapped with contrasting coloured plaited sennit. butt broken at one edge of pommel. label reads: "A very rare old club owned by a very high warrior chief"
