  • Description

    lamp, oil. The object is an oil lamp with a circular oil chamber. There are two medium sized holes in the discus- one for filling and the other for air. The nozzle is medium length with a very large wick hole. The handle is vertical and is attached to the shoulder. The handle is decorated with a scroll like design and the discus is concave with no design. The base of the lamp is broken and there are silty deposits adhering to it. The fabric is a buff clay with no glaze.
