  • Description

    water jar, modern Arab pottery, ovaloid body that narrows towards a flat base, extended cyclindrical collar, the collar is sealed at the base except for eight holes punched through, two handles on opposite sides of the vessel which attach at the collar and at the shoulder, an incised design runs around the circumference of the shoulder, a less deeply inscribed design runs around the circumference of the collar.
