  • Description

    Kupe'e Palaoa. Ivory wrist ornament. This is a two-sided, oval form. One side features a curved surface and the other side a flat surface. The flat side is lined with three drilled perforations that connect internally. It is pale yellow in colour with a smooth and polished surface. Its colouring is the result of being wrapped in Tī leaves and exposed to sugar cane smoke. This ornament would be worn across the wrist.
