  • Description

    Toki. Adze. Multipurpose tool used for carving wood and other materials. Carved from basalt toka (stone). Triangular cross-section. Chipped cutting edge. Shallow bevel surface with chip at one corner. Blade has shallow chip from lower end. Raised shoulder. Rounded butt end and poll. Overall surface of the adze is treated with low level polish and some pecking towards the butt end. Dark grey in colour.
