Te reeree. Sword. This is made from the following materials: noko (coconut midrib), wii ni bakoa (shark teeth), the nimwaerere (cordage of human hair and coconut sennit fibres), the ira (pandanus leaf) and the kanni (coconut wood). A length of the kanni has been carved and filed to form a spear-like, cylindrical form. Most of its depth can be seen along the handle part of the reeree. A width of the ira has been wrapped around where the barbed length and handle intersect.

Te nimwaerere has been woven through as the weft across the ira. Three pairs of the noko begin from beneath the width of the ira and extend down the length of the kanni towards the tapered point. Each pair of the noko has been inlayed with wii ni bakoa. A circular perforation has been drilled into the base of each wii ni bakoa where the nimwaerere has been threaded through and lashed over the noko and across the kanni for securing and positioning the components along the length of the reeree. A section before the point is exposed where the noko and wii ni bakoa have become separated and missing as a result. The point also features an encasement of the ira that has been woven with the nimwaerere similar to the fashioning of the intersect between the handle and the barbed length.
