    Ei katu. Headdress. Made of apuraka (stalk of the giant swamp taro). Bundles of apuraka (stalk of the giant swamp taro) strands are woven with their ends loose and curled. Cloth is wrapped and sewn onto a base consisting of wire at the top and bottom. The bundles of apuraka (stalk of the giant swamp taro) are sewn onto cloth using cotton thread. Natural golden brown colour.
