    More. Waist garment. Woven using fau strips. The waistband consists of bundles of fau strips that are wrapped and knotted around a base of made of strips of fau. The waistband is emphasised with two sets of fau strips woven across the width of the waistband, with strips of fau woven across the upper area of the waistband forming a criss-cross pattern.

    A row of red seeds are bored and threaded onto nylon wire which is handsewn, using strips of fau, across the upper area of the waistband. There is another row of bored and threaded red seeds, which has been arranged to form a wave/zigzag like pattern near the middle area of the garment. The remaining body of the garment consists of loose strips of fau. There are five ties, 2-ply, at each end of the waistband. There are five sets of tassels, with each set consisting of two tassels made of strips of fau.
