  • Description

    Toki. Adze. Multipurpose tool used for carving wood and other materials. Carved from basalt toka (stone). Dark grey in colour. Trapezoidal cross-section. Sharp cutting edge. Shallow bevel surface. Bevel surface is highly polished. Pecking visible at the upper area of the blade. Raised shoulder. From the shoulder reduced to butt, which is left pecked. Poll is roughly worked.
