    violin, (kahikatea) scroll head, four ebony pegs, dark brown wood body, ebony fingerboard and tailpiece, one piece back, attached dark wood chin rest, white lined pattern on top of chin rest, white lined pattern on top of chin rest.

    Case - solid wood, light brown violin shaped case, front view leather strap handle clasp at head end, brass lock near handle, two hinges head and tail end to connect lid to base, ribbon at tail end connects lid and base, two interior boxes - one green and one grey the interior of which has a yellow/black floral pattern, inside boxes - kauri resin, washer, metal piece, wood piece
