lamp, oil. The object is a Arabian wheel made upright oil lamp. The base is slightly concave with a circular squat oil chamber. The nozzle is horizontal and has a open top. The neck is flared but is badly chipped (difficult to establish original profile). The handle is also broken away but would have attached to the shoulder and neck. There is a milky turquoise glaze roughly applied to the object but does not cover the base. The fabric is buff.
