Box of Bedar work (ethnology card & register)

Metal box. Oval shaped and decorated in Bidriware style. Top of lid and sides of box decorated with geometric grid pattern of horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines. Three borders around the edges of the lid. One border around the top of the box and one border around the bottom of the box base. Box base has metal divider latitudinally across interior, dividing the box into two equal halves. Lid has flange with recesses to fit over box divider.
