    Crewel linen from Czechoslavalia, hem of machine-scalloped embroidery. Central motif of Auckland Museum. Embroidered signatures of visitors to Museum include notable New Zealanders and foreign tourists. Embroidery executed by members of Auckland Embroiderers Guild. Not all signature stitched.
