    Headrest (English)

  • Description

    Kali. Headrest. Carved from kau (wood), consisting of a rest that is long, and cylindrical in shape and round in section. Lashed with magimagi (coconut sennit) to the underside of the rest are two supports, each are a horse shoe shape sitting on round feet at the base. One foot has a noticeable crack in it. Scratches are visible on the surface of the kali. Reddish brown in colour.
