    pair of deer skin trousers which are attributed to Moquis (Hopi peoples) of Arizona. The length of the trouser legs go to just below knee like European breeches and have a split down the outer side. They are decorated up the side with a line of red colour, which is maybe red ochre paint.The seat of the trousers have generous amount of material and is gathered onto the waistband at the back only. Fly is open and the right side proper has an extra flap of leather sewn to it.
