    brass carriage lamp

    Made from brass, metal, and glass. A cube shaped central body with 1 side with a square glass window with transparent glass, a circular transparent glass window, a brass side with a small red faceted centre, and one side has a raised brass box with screw hole. At the bottom is a container for the gas. The top of the lamp has 2 tiered crown. Stamped at the top of the crow is text in a ring reading: PAT DEC. 9 1908 / DETROIT. MICH / E & J
