'pineapple' club. eight concentric rows of closely spaced projections. flat flanges where head joins neck. beak flares to end. neck poorly shaped; once had wrapping on it of some sort. shaft flares to butt with rounded convex end. end has wrapping of red wool and purplish fibre.
