    framed velvet painting of 'Te Toa, New Zealand War Dog' WWI

    According to donor it was given to her father by a WW1 veteran, Ted Deveraux or Devereux; and was believed to have been painted on Gallipoli. The image is almost the same as a postcard , published NZ Herald, circa 1914, and may have been painted from the postcard.
