    Seat mat

    Made from leopard skin. A ridged hide that is likely the head section of the leopard due to the shape and spot markings. A rounded top with pointed edges at the sides, squared bottom. A circular hole at top, below is a woven rope that passes through hide. The obverse has fur in brown and beige that is patchy around the edges. The reverse is the leather side, dark brown colour with creases and folds. There is a woven role knot at top
