  • Description

    jar, ceramic. Round bottomed, restricted jar. Slightly elongated ellipsoid body, shoulder tapers gently to point of inflection where it curves to a short, slightly flaring neck. Round rim. Light brown burnished clay. Vessel is decorated with two horizontal bands of red paint, approximately 5mm thick. One band on lowest part of shoulder, one just below. point of inflection with neck. Between these red bands are four horizontal black bands of paint, of similar thickness.
