    Tapora. Coconut frond basket. Used to carry cooked food or other items. Usually used temporarily and discarded after use. Woven from kikau (coconut frond). Commencement from split midrib rim. Finished at base in an iri (braid) with extra iri length tucked into the tapora inside. Woven in check quadrangluar shape. Natural colour.
