  • Description

    Tairiiri. Fan woven from kikau (coconut leaf). The blade is in the shape of an inverted triangle. Mauranga (handle) is formed by weaving the blade from a main midrib of the kikau. Plaited commencement at the centre base in check. Top edge of the blade is flat with a patara (serrated) edge. Natural colour.
