    Marilyn Sainty has worked professionally in the fashion industry since 1965. After working in Sydney, she returned to Auckland and established Marilyn Sainty design in 1975. Scotties boutique was opened in 1979 and still retails her designs as well as labels from overseas. This restrained and elegant ballgown was selected and worn by broadcaster Kim Hill.
