Kete. Bag. For carrying personal items. Woven from rauara (pandanus leaf) with overlaid dyed-black apuraka (giant swamp taro) akamanea (decoration). Rectangular in shape. The kete has a patara (serrated) decorative edge. The overlaid pattern in dyed-black is known as katikativai (a motif that consists of two rows of check that touch), woven in a zig-zag pattern. Rauara tatai (handle) is broken off, although base of handle is woven through kete, tied off on the ends.
