black dress, late 1950's style purchased ? 2006. Sleeveless, scooped neckline with yoke gathered at neck edge, waisted with gathered skirt. Armholes and neck edge bound with bias cut self fabric. Predominantly rayon fabric. Fine self stripe running vertically on yoke and skirt and horizontally across lower bodice and border on hem edge. Back fastening with plastic zip and metal hook and eye. Lined with taffeta and black label with red lettering reads Martin Grant, Paris.
