    leather covered water bottle

    torpedo glass bottle, clear/aqua colour, blob top with [metal cap] and leather cover; cover in two pieces, hand stitched with seams at each side; upper half of cover has strap around neck and notches at top for attachment/suspension; possibly NZ Wars or Crimean War period - see similar Crimean War objects in collection W0923 & W0987.
