Charles C Marsack born 7th May 1892 joined the 2nd New Zealand Rifle Brigade ‘C Company, as a Sergeant in April 1915 and served through to 1919 attaining the rank of Lieutenant. He also served with the rank of Captain during WW2 in North Africa and Italy, and was mentioned in despatches in 1946.
