    polished wood box with hinged lid, copper relief inlay on lid with illustration of battlecruiser HMS New Zealand, presentation plaque with inscription: "This casket is made of material taken from the battlecruiser "New Zealand" and is presented by Rosyth Shipbreaking Co Ltd. Christmas 1923. Built at Govan 1912, broken up at Roswyth 1923".
