    skirt for the Hmong tribes of Northern Vietnam

    Dark blue, coarse spun, loose weave, hemp skirt wrap around with ties. Top half of skirt plain dark blue with pleats along front, lower half has patchwork geometric design in white, red, black and blue.

    Resist dyed indigo. stabilising stitch along upper edge of pleating.

    pleated with rice starch 1 long and 1 short tie at waist, ties worn.

    Measurements – waist to hem 630mm - width span 1530mm
