    hilt: gilt knuckle bow with five balls; ivory grip with gilt band at centre with oval shield and engraved crown and foul anchor; obverse side of quillon has a curved side guard with five balls on the centre; has small anchor in space between quillon and side guard

    blade: curved, partly fullered blade

    measurements: length 635mm; maximum width 25mm
