In the late 1960s and early 1970s colourful designer styles emerged in the design of menswear. International couturiers entered the field of men’s clothing and turned it away from traditional bespoke tailoring into fashionable dress. In wearing this corduroy suit, Ross Fraser would have projected success as a man-about-town who liked the new well-designed tailored look.
