    Tivaevae tataura, applique embroidered quilt. Tivaevae is large and rectangular in shape. Tivaevae has design of red and yellow matirita (chrysanthemum) flower with green leaves on a royal blue background applied with tuitui rima (hand stitching). There is further decorative embroidery around edges and centres to define and enhance the motifs. Purchased from Iva Williams representing Enuamanu Vainetini group, Mangere.
