    Emergency ration pack prepared for US forces serving in the Pacific during WW2

    These WW2 packs were subsequently issued to the Royal Dutch Forces operating in Indonesia 1945-50.

    The donor, Mr WJ Schwarz, was in the Guards Regiment Fusiliers (part of Princess Irene Brigade) of the Free Dutch Forces in Britain during WW2 and subsequently served with the Royal Dutch Forces in Indonesia, during the Indonesian War of Independence, 1945-1949
