"Walrus tusk. Decorated with scrimshaw. Shows leaves circular designs, three masted barquentine. "
"Probably of old procured from Eskimos[sic] and carved by sailor. The tusk is a fine one, with hole drilled through the point. Many designs are carved on it, including leaves, circular designs, flags and three masted sailing ship in full sail.
