This long strand of shell currency consists of small pieces of white te nouo (conus shell) and dark brown te nana (coconut shell) ground into small discs drilled at their centre and strung in an alternating monochrome pattern on a length of medium brown cord of te kora (coconut sennit), tied off into a Neck ornament ornament.
