    Puppet, Wayang Kulit, shadow puppet

    Made from buffalo horn, hide, gold leaf, wood, and cotton thread. The puppet depicts a side profile view of anthropomorphic character, character has a black headdress with open work curls , figure is shirtless, has large pants, and bare feet. The figure is made from hide that is carved, goldleaf is on the skin of the character, painted details of headdress and pants are in green and red. The handles and control rods are made from buffalo horns that are attached to the puppet with cotton thread and are attached to hands and body of figure. The lower arms are on nails to allow pivoting of arms with the movement of the rods
