    Backpack, Doko

    Made from split bamboo and plant fibre. A 'V' shaped backpack with a circular opening and a body that tapers down to a square base. The body is woven using a horizontal open cross plait technique through 20 vertical bamboo supports, lower section of the body is woven using a tighter wicker technique. The namlo/head strap is woven from plant fibres, a dense band at the centre woven from plait technique with attached plant fibre twisted rope that is attached through the baskets weave
