Belonged to Group Captain John Seabrook, RNZAF
John Seabrook was born in 1896 in California and came out to New Zealand as a small child, receiving his education at Avondale School and Auckland Grammar School.
During WW1 John Seabrook joined the Royal Flying Corps, serving as a pilot with No 8 Squadron in France 1916-17, and in the Royal Air Force in the Middle East in 1918, with the rank of Captain.
